GREAT BRITISH FOOD
...the Hairy Bikers' collection of recipes featuring either chicken, eggs or both is practical, well-illustrated and full of robust and flavoursome recipes. Their cheery approach makes the book fun to read and easy to use, while a major plus is the chapter on techniques, which includes advice on how to spatchcock and butterfly a chicken. The two main ingredients run the gamut of cookery delights, from soups and salads through chicken with carbs to puddings. We particularly enjoyed the chicken parmigianaand cherry clafoutis.

What I love about this cookbook is that it really does show how amazing chickens are and how much we rely on them for cooking, baking and eating. It covers a vast array of ideas, from simple soups and salads to pies, pasta and rice dishes - and there are some great ideas for making a little go a long way.
