Des Powell

Now a best-selling author (Bravo Three Zero) and influencer, Des Powell served in the Para Regiment and in the SAS, working in Northern Ireland, Bosnia, Iraq, Afghanistan and Libya, carrying out operations in Somalia, Algiers, Kenya, Colombia, and Latin America, taking part in many other clandestine operations around the world, and then, at the conclusion of his military career, going on to work in the international security scene known as The Circuit. His unusual status as one of the last UK special forces operators not obliged to sign an MoD non-disclosure agreement gives him greater latitude than most. And although he’s still bound by Official Secrets, he’s otherwise free to discuss his experiences frankly.
